NYCHS Donation, Spring Sale and Don Drew models listed

The Jim Walsh Collection has donated several O Scale models to the New York Central Historical Society. Jim was a former Board Member and Lifetime Member of the Society. Matt Dowd from ResourcedRails.com pictured above with me, delivered the models to Frank Bongiovanni and Sheldon Lustig at the Society’s office in Cleveland, Ohio.

Included in the donation are two Kohs’ Hudsons which will be for sale, plus many other NYC O Scale models. Two of the Key NYC K-3’s will be on permanent display in both O and HO Scales with mention of Jim’s involvement with the design of the series. It’s a perfect setting for recognizing Jim’s thorough research and hard work on the project. For more info, please contact the Society directly through Frank at: bongiovanni1@hotmail.com

Don Drew was a beloved owner of Pacific Fast Mail, the importer of high end brass engines. Don and Jim were good friends and after Don passed, Jim purchased models from his Collection. Those models are for sale at jimwalshcollection.com and going fast! Check out the remaining models on the home page.

A Spring into March Sale is happening now on the site with models greatly reduced. Get your wish list out and make those dreams come true! If a model isn’t on the site, contact us at sales@jimwalshcollection.com and we’ll check to see if it’s still in the collection.
